I paint how the world feels.

Based in East Lothian, Scotland, I make abstract paintings borne from feelings and interactions with my environment, and from the tension and atmosphere they create -  whether positive, negative or somewhere in between. I build layers of colour, texture and movement, allowing instinct to shape each work as it develops, until the alchemy of those elements becomes an expression of my inner world.
